A newborn lifestyle photoshoot is a relaxed photographic and baby-led experience, capturing the connection between your family and your new baby in the comfort of a studio. Unlike traditional posed newborn photography, I will create images that focus on capturing moments between you and your baby. I use easy prompts and throughout the session will help you into more natural poses that encourage the tender moments to be captured.
With all my family and newborn photography, I focus on the in between moments as well as the details so that you have a wide range of images to cherish for years to come. Baby ears, toes, lips, fingers and lips are those details you never want to forget. A lifestyle session means that the majority of photos will be of the baby in someone’s arms although if the baby allows, I do try to capture them individually in a Moses basket.
This 2 hour session gives us plenty of time to do the baby things that are sometimes necessary such as feeding and diaper changes. Please don’t stress if the baby needs anything or comfort during the session. I can still capture those in between moments documenting every aspect of your life with your sweet newborn. If you are comfortable, I can also take feeding photos by bottle or breast.

Additionally, there are several couch options or a bed to still create that cozy lifestyle feel.
I strive to make the experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. I provide blankets and outfit options for the baby to take off any pressure of figuring out what the baby will wear as well as offer the whole family styling advice. I even have some postpartum friendly dresses for moms if you would like to borrow something for the session. With several years of experience in newborn photography, I am confident that your images will be something you cherish for years to come.
Located in Shoreline Wa, the studio I use is highly accessible from all nearby cities including Lake Stevens, Everett, Edmonds, Mukilteo, Lynnwood, Bothell, North Seattle and the greater Seattle area. When you book the studio as part of your newborn lifestyle session, the studio cost is included in the listed price on my schedule.
