I offer the following session types: newborn lifestyle, maternity, intimate motherhood, milestones, family, branding, PNW adventures, couples (including engagements and elopements), high school seniors, and boudoir. I love the variety of all these session types and you will always receive images that are colorful and feel like you!

As a mom of 2 young children, I understand this concern fully! The good news is my primary goals with families and kids during sessions are to have FUN and to make sure we don’t put any pressure on your kids to smile if they aren’t feeling it. If you are relaxed and having fun with them, they will likely match your energy! And, I also just love capturing who they are so just connecting with them during our session can be the most priceless images.

Don’t you worry, I always make sure that we have a good mix of candid and looking at the camera images. I also will be getting up close and personal to capture some detailed shots to give you a wide range of images to cherish.

“I am awkward and have no idea what I am doing!”
I am a proudly silly person, which helps take off some pressure! I also continually spend time learning prompts and studying posing for all types of people and families. I always give clear instructions (often demonstrating or showing photos) so you feel comfortable and relaxed. I pay attention to the details and make adjustments to hands or clothes before I even start capturing you!

“Does your editing style ever change?”
Color is beautiful and brings me so much joy! My images are always vibrant and true to color. You can expect seeing the sunset sky, the teal in the lake, the green trees and your true skin tone.
I also include several black and white images that I may have found to be more tender with that editing style.
